Cemorolawang, this cozy spot perfectly combines artistic flair with culinary delights, making it a must-visit for anyone exploring the lush landscapes and vibrant culture of the region.

Little Lava boasts a delightful menu that features a variety of dishes catering to both local and international palates. The cafe is particularly noted for its tauhu goreng (fried tofu) and ikan bakar (grilled fish), each dish offering a burst of flavor that complements the cafe's warm and inviting atmosphere. As you take a seat, the pleasant aroma of food wafts through the air, inviting you to indulge in their culinary excellent offerings. Imagine savoring perfectly grilled fish priced at just 40K IDR while enjoying the sounds of laughter and conversation around you.

Environmental ambiance plays a key role at Little Lava; you can choose to lounge inside with tasteful decor that sparks creativity or relax outside amidst the charming surroundings. Many visitors have shared glowing reviews about their experiences here. Customer 'Yueji' describes how “everything we ordered tasted good,” highlighting the standout service at a very affordable price. Similarly, 'CC F' reflects on the delightful offerings alongside a friendly atmosphere, though they did note that the cafe can become quite crowded, which adds to its lively charm.

However, it’s worth noting that timing your visit might be crucial, especially during peak hours when seating can be limited and food may take a bit longer to arrive. In a review by 'Banuaji P', it was mentioned that some menu items were unavailable on a weekday visit; nevertheless, they found the presentation delightful and the taste satisfactory—a testament to consistency amidst varying circumstances.

Overall, Little Lava captures the essence of what makes a cafe truly special: good food, a friendly environment, and a sprinkle of nostalgia—just like how 'Ralf K' fondly reminisced while enjoying a nostalgic chocolate sandwich. Whether you are popping in for a quick snack or settling down for a leisurely meal with friends, this art cafe provides the perfect backdrop for a delightful experience.

So, if you find yourself wandering through this enchanting area of East Java, make sure to stop by Little Lava. You’re bound to leave not just with a satisfied appetite but also with warm memories of great food, friendly faces, and the vibrant life that fills this artful oasis.

Nice for a snack, sit down and watch the people. Coffee wasn't good (instant coffee) but the sandwich with chocolate hail reminded me of my childhood :-)

Delicious and affordable dishes in the area in a good environment. Grilled fish for 40K and grilled corn for 10K IDR only. Friendly and helpful owner. But waiting time is very long and place is crowded so difficult to find seats.

Nice cozy place with delicious hot tea (ginger tea) and nice coffee from machine Don’t take matcha because it’s matcha with water (no milk inside) BUT we had grilled banana, it wasn’t like usual dish, too sweet for us. Otherwise, cool and friendly place Accept cards, have wifi, hot tea, tables inside/outside

Nice ambience at night. But when we came to here at weekdays, they didnt have all item of their menu. But my friend just buy fried rice. The taste is Allright but not special. The presentation is good.

Tried fried tahu/tofu and it came with a nice sweet sauce. Also ordered jasuke (not pictured) but it was a cup of savory corn with cheese. Got a salted caramel popcorn drink which was too sweet for my liking. Friendly staff and cafe was quite empty. Credit card was accepted here.

This is a nice little spot to eat in a town with limited options. As always, best if not super overrun, but the food is good, service is friendly, and the prices are fine. If the portion does not quite satisfy, they have a good selection of snack items such as dimsum and the like. Beware of the spice if you don’t like it (they have levels you can choose from).
